The examination will be administered online by CPS HR Consulting in partnership with ProctorU. ProctorU is a live, online proctoring service that allows you to take your exam from your home.
To take an exam with ProctorU you must have access to the following:
A reliable personal computer with a microphone and a webcam
Windows or Apple Operating System
Google Chrome or Firefox internet browser
A high-speed internet connection
A private, distraction-free area

Applicants eligible to take the examination will be notified by CPS HR and will also receive a separate, personalized email invitation from ProctorU. The invitation will include a unique link that candidates must use to schedule their exam.
We recommend that you take the exam earlier in the testing period to prevent any unforeseen technical errors or personal scheduling conflicts that may arise on your part.

Appointments are available on a first come first served basis. Schedule your exam appointment as soon as possible to ensure you can test. An appointment must be scheduled at least 72 hours in advance of your desired test date and time.

You may take the test from a location of your choice during the time you schedule. You are required to test in a quiet, distraction-free area. No other individuals are allowed in the testing room with you during the online exam.
A reliable computer or laptop with a stable high-speed internet connection, a microphone, a webcam (internal or external), and a Windows or Apple Operating System is required for the exam. You will be asked to test your equipment out prior to your exam.
You must present a current, valid government-issued photo ID to be admitted into the online exam session. Only a state driver’s license or identification card, passport, civil service ID, or military identification card will be accepted. Expired photo ID(s) will not be accepted.
An erasable hand-held whiteboard and erasable marker may be used as scratch paper during the exam. After completing your exam, the proctor will verify that you have completely erased the whiteboard. Absolutely no scratch paper will be permitted.
You are not allowed to access any notes or personal items including, but not limited to purses, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, study materials, smart watches, activity trackers, pagers, portable telephones, recording devices, calculators, etc. An onscreen basic-function calculator will be available in the online testing system. Verification will be conducted by the proctor via webcam to ensure that your testing space is free of prohibited items.
